Marquetry — the meticulous, age-old technique of creating pictures or patterns out of different pieces of wood veneer is not something generally associated with contemporary art and/or surface design. Emma Wood has been reinventing this classic art form by referencing popular culture and contemporary themes in her signature geometric style.
